Lyme Regis Youth Football Division donated football goals to The Hub Youth Club for youth club to use during their busy Wednesday and Friday sessions. Julia Durrant, Secretary and Treasurer said “the football club is happy to support local youth in our community and we hope having the football nets at The Hub Youth Club will encourage more young footballers”.
The Chairman of Lyme Regis Football Club, Martyn Wright, is keen to get a girls football team established and after their visit at The Hub both Ella McCallum and Mya Jallow said that they would love to try football on a Wednesday and that it was really exciting to have the chance to play in a girls team.
“The Hub Youth Club is delighted to be supporting Lyme Regis Football Club to give local young people opportunities to take part in quality supporting activities” said James Ward-Rice, Youth Worker.
