Skate park action at the Big Mix Festival

Skate park action at the Big Mix Festival

It was great to collaborate with B Sharp and WDDC for the Big Mix Festival.  The skate park was enjoyed all day by young people of all ages and abilities, all having fun and a fantastic time whilst listening to original music being performed on stage.  It was a brilliantly organised event for young people with a committed team of volunteers.  Looking forward to next years’ already!

Music and Skate Park!

Music and Skate Park!

B Sharp, WDDC and The Hub have worked together to bring the mobile skate park to the Big Mix! It’s going to be down by the side of The Marine Theatre between 1pm and 7pm and free for all wheels! Chillax! on the big bean bags afterwards and listen to the brilliant Big Mix Music or do some of the hands on activities during the CrafterNoon! Perfect!

The Mobile Skate Park is a street course made up of various ramps and is ideal for a range of ages and abilities to use.  You must wear a crash helmet.  These are available to borrow and so are skateboards and scooters.  A trained supervisor will be around to help and make sure everyone is having a great time!
