They are at The Hub again and start on September 7th after school and are a fantastic class for primary school children to gain confidence and make new friends. Lyme Regis Development Trust will shortly be announcing some new community initiatives, the first of these will be a Community Café at The Hub. We are looking to make the café area more inviting so if you have some plants we could use to brighten up our space please bring them along to The Hub or telephone us on 01297 444266. Thank you for your continued support.
Thank you Alive CM Children and Youth for staying at The Hub and using our building for your residential
stay. It was great to meet you all and I hope you come again to visit. Groups are welcome to stay at The Hub, the charge is £150 per night. This rental income goes towards funding for our Youth Club. We do have some availability in August if you want to enjoy Lyme Regis.
Did you know that The Hub is available for residential stays. It costs £150 per night and can be any group, not only students or young people. We’ve hosted walking groups and large groups of families and scientists who have enjoyed the indoor camping experience The Hub offers and being close to the town centre and Jurrasic Coast. There’s space in August!!
Just a reminder to you all that Youth Club will be breaking up for the summer holidays on 25 July and will be back in September with James and Jess. Thank you all for your continued support.
Join Jurassic Coast poet-in-residence, Sarah Acton, for a gentle poetry walk or workshop to connect your creative thinking to the natural environment through readings, discussion, and easy creative writing exercises in response to the landscape.
All walks are gentle, largely flat and last for around 1 hour 30 minutes.
Also workshops will involve a short 10-15 minute reflection on a bench outside, or stroll if preferred, so please dress for all weather, and bring a small cushion if necessary
All walks free of charge, and all workshops with donation for refreshments, suggested donation £1/£2, these events are commissioned and subsidised by Dorset AONB Stepping Into Nature project. For more information go to https://www.dorsetaonb.org.uk/stepping-into-nature/guided-activities
