There will be another fabulous Yoga and Gong Detox at The Hub on January 14th. What a great way to start the weekend and the year! Come along and experience an integral yogo class where, after a warm up, you will explore various asanas restorative hatha-flowing yoga followed by deep relaxation and revitalise with pranayama. Afterwards relax to the sonic vibrations of a gentle gong bath. A wonderful way to distress, relieve anxiety and relax. Youth Club is back for the New Year at The Hub starting on Wednesday 11/1/2017 for young people age 8-13 and senior club on Fridays for those age 14+. It will be open during term time. We hope to see you all!
After a year of great music making at The Hub and across Devon and Dorset, B Sharp are holding their annual party at Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis this Saturday 26th November – and we would love to see you there! There will be live music from young people and music leaders from the Hub Jams, Boombox and Bridport Jams plus a lively mix of talented soloists and our special guests for the night, the ever popular Mr Jèan. We will have delicious chilli & rice and refreshments on offer, and the Marine Theatre Bar will be open throughout the evening too. Tickets are only £7 per adult & £4 Under 18’s/concessions. Another unique way that The Hub is being used this week is by Chris Fogg and his company of actors and musicians for the development of his play ‘Tree House’ which will go to the Marine Theatre and on tour in the South West. Another source of funding and collaboration with the Marine Theatre for our building.Tree House
The Hub has had a lovely surprise! Rachael Souter-Phillips Maraveli and the Royal Standard held a Bake-Off and they have kindly donated £140 from the funds raised to youth club sessions! We’re very happy and grateful!
